ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Barth Financial Office renovation involved a complete transformation of the second-floor interior within the historic Kaufmann Center, a landmark building originally constructed in 1908. The project reimagined the existing space into a modern, professional financial services office while respecting the building’s historic character and architectural legacy.
The renovation focused on creating a refined, efficient, and welcoming environment that supports client meetings, staff operations, and day-to-day business functions. Careful planning and coordination were used to integrate modern building systems, updated layouts, and contemporary finishes within the constraints of a historic structure.
Interior improvements included a full reconfiguration of the office layout to enhance functionality, privacy, and circulation. New finishes, lighting, and millwork were installed to elevate the client experience while maintaining a timeless aesthetic appropriate for a financial office. Where feasible, historic elements were preserved and complemented with modern materials to create a balanced blend of old and new.
Upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and technology infrastructure ensured the space meets current performance, comfort, and code requirements. Accessibility, life-safety, and durability considerations were incorporated throughout the renovation to support long-term use.
The completed renovation delivered a professional, updated office environment that reflects Barth Financial’s commitment to service and stability while contributing to the continued revitalization and preservation of the historic Kaufmann Center.
